On January 23, 2025, AIMA, as a Working Group for Interreligious Dialogue member, proudly promoted the launch and dissemination of the Interreligious Calendar “Celebration of Time 2025” at the Pharmacy Museum in Lisbon. The event was a significant step toward fostering unity, understanding, and mutual respect among diverse religious communities in Portugal.

Crown Portugal LDA was represented at the event by its Director, Mr. D.S. Saini, who actively engaged with AIMA delegates and other attendees. Mr Saini shared insightful ideas on providing more resounding support for the international community, enabling their integration into Portuguese society and culture while honouring and respecting their unique religious practices. This approach reflects the growing importance of inclusivity in modern Portugal.

During his interaction, Mr Saini highlighted the absence of Sikh community symbols in the calendar, emphasizing the need for the representation of all religious communities. AIMA’s leadership and Paulinas Editora recognized the oversight and assured that the Sikh symbols would be included in the next edition, “Celebration of Time 2026”. This acknowledgement and promise demonstrated a commitment to inclusivity and the continuous improvement of the project.

The event also saw the presence of Mr. Umer Muhammad, a senior team member of Crown Portugal LDA, who further underscored the company’s dedication to fostering interreligious dialogue and supporting community integration. His participation added weight to Crown Portugal’s role as a key player in promoting harmony and cultural exchange in Portugal.

The launch of the “Celebration of Time 2025 calendar reminds us of the power of collaboration between organizations like AIMA and forward-thinking companies like Crown Portugal LDA. They aim to build bridges between communities, celebrate diversity, and create a more inclusive society. This event marked the unveiling of the calendar and strengthened the commitment to a shared vision of unity and respect across different cultures and religions.
