Home Address or Certificate of Residency Registration.

Once you make your Finance number (NIF) now you need an official address which makes your official correspondence possible and is set as your home address, it is called certificate of residency also. There are few steps in obtaining a home address.

STEP.1

Please prepare your documents including your Rental Contract, Passport, Finance number (NIF) and a Humble fees of 10 euros.

STEP.2

Please book an appointment (normally in covid situation) in the JUNTA DE FREGUESIA. Usually you appointment and it is in within 2 days. Once in the office you need to tell them that you want to make the certificate of residency. You will be asked to present the above documents. Your file is prepared and you are given a confirmation of Residency Certificate Application and a date to pick up your certificate of residency which is usually no more than 3 days.

STEP.3

Please visit the JUNTA DE FREGUESIA Office, Show the proof of application for residency certificate. You will be given your address in hand which is usually a blue paper with your personal information and an official stump and signature by the JUNTA DE FREGUESIA.
